Application
Sodium Bentonite is used to manufacture casting moulds due to its rubber and viscosity property. Due to viscosity property of Bentonite, sand grains are bonded each other and rubber property condensates the grains and proper form of the mould is provided. Bentonite as a preservative is used in the production of iron, steel and cast iron alloys.
